1st New Year Party was largest scale. Over 20 people participated in it.

We started E-Mail service. We became we can mail via "uinet.or.jp".
- 1996.1.17 : Decide the Logo Mark

We decided the UINET's original Logo Mark.
- 1996.4.13 : OHANAMI Party

Miyata-san participated actively in this party.
- 1996.5.11 : IP Connect

We connected to Sai-Net. So, you ca use outside WWW-servers and FTP-servers.
- 1996.5.19 : 1st General Meeting

We had the 1st General Meeting at SAITAMA Kaikan. And we recognized the followings. Last year of activity and account reports. This year of activity and budget plans. Amend the regulations. Elect staffs.

NIKKEI-X cover to the UINET at NOC. There was very friendly atmosphere. It appeared in The NIKKEI NEWS at Sat. Jul 22nd 1996.
